From an instant glow to DNA repair and longer-term collagen support, an NHS doctor says this new skin booster ‘is the future of bio-stimulating’ and could be the tweakment trend replacing obvious filler and ‘standard’ boosters like Profhilo.
LongevHA, known as an ‘injectable moisturiser’, uses hyaluronic acid to get deep into the skin and attract water, promoting deep hydration, but what really makes it unique is that it contains powerful anti-ageing molecules like NAD+ and resveratrol, which energise cells, allowing them to repair DNA damage and produce collagen.
Dr Kieron Lord has worked in various medical specialities across the NHS since 2015, before he started working in aesthetics and then expanded into the longevity space three years ago. Today, he runs clinics across the UK and provides training in both aesthetics and longevity treatments alongside his NHS work.
Dr Lord said: "This really isn’t a trend. When it comes to LongevHA and skin boosters, there is simply nothing else like it on the market. “While standard skin boosters only hydrate the skin, LongevHA actually targets the cellular mechanisms to actively slow down the ageing process.
It also includes mannitol, which suppresses inflammation to help with conditions like rosacea and acne, while making the hyaluronic acid last much longer."
Dr Lord originally got into the longevity space after noticing that many of his clients’ visible signs of ageing were actually symptoms of underlying lifestyle factors like chronic stress, bad diets, and poor sleep, so he set out to find a treatment that does more than just plump.
He said: "I always recommend skin boosters to everybody because they give a nice, dewy glow, but this specific treatment is excellent for people with moderate to advanced skin ageing, worsening fine lines, and sun damage.”
Dr Ewa Kania is also an aesthetic doctor who uses LongevHA in her clinic on Upper Wimpole Street, London.
She said: “We are seeing a shift from filling the skin with just hydration to optimising it to work better and reverse the age clock."

“You see an immediate result, but the skin continues to improve over the next two to six weeks. With regular treatments, the results just keep getting better.”
From the age of 25, we lose collagen at a rate of up to 2% every year. Dr Lord says that by just adding filler, we are fighting a losing battle if we aren't also working to improve skin quality and stimulate long-term collagen production.
He added: "People are reacting to the bad filler work they have seen over the years, which is why everyone is stripping back and going for the more natural look and not ‘overdone’.
“Fillers and Botox definitely still have a place when done properly, but both patients and practitioners now have a much better understanding of how we age.”
Victoria Watkinson uses LongevHA in her Devon clinic, VIP Cosmetics.
She said: “Profhilo is good in the sense that it does give a subtle lift, but it is more for hydration. LongevHA has got a lot more to it and is better in the long run.”
The LongevHA treatment itself only takes around 30 minutes, including consultation and requires no patient downtime.
Dr Lord said: "I usually apply numbing cream during the consultation to ensure comfort. We can either microneedle the product into the skin or use a quick injection technique involving just five points on each side of the face. The injections take about 60 seconds per side.
“You are in and out of the clinic within half an hour, there is virtually zero downtime, and you can get straight back to your normal day."
Dr Kania added: "I would say for me, this is how the next generation of aesthetic medicine actually looks. We don't see bigger results, but we see that there is better biology.”
